Ladakh Lakes & Peaks: 2022

LLP tour takes you on journey through five pristine lakes such as Pangong, Moriri & Kar and others and five of the world's highest mountain passes in Chang La, Tanglang La and Khardung La, etc. The riders of this expedition will be the first ones to travel through this unique corridor on the Ladakh trail. The climax of the expedition is to finish the journey by cycling on one of the world's highest motorable roads – ‘KHARDUNG LA’ – 5602m / 18380 ft.

Tour Distance: 700+ kms. over 11 cycling days

Terrain: This tour is tough and some of the roads are gravel roads, very uneven surfaces which makes cycling speed very slow. The entire region is on high altitude ( 4 nights are above 14000 ft altitude ) and that also impacts on the cycling speed.

Support: Support vehicle for backup and separate vehicle for internal transfers if required.

Arrival at Leh

Acclimatization at Leh. Bike fitting and tour briefing

4^th Aug - Day 3

Leh - Lichke - 80 kms.

Accomodation: Camp at Likche; Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

5^th Aug - Day 4

Likche – Chumathang - 75 kms.

Accomodation: Camp at Chumathang; Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

6^th Aug - Day 5

Chumathang - Upper Sumdo - 45 kms.

Accomodation: Camp at Upper Sumdo; Meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

7^th Aug - Day 6

Upper Sumdo – Karzok [Tso Moriri] - 60 kms.

8^th Aug - Day 7

Karzok - Tso Kar - Internal Transfer and 30 kms.

Does the price include airfare? Is the tour price inclusive of bike rentals?

No, the price is excluding airfare. Bike Rentals are extra and will be informed upon registration.
What are the inclusions and exclusion in the tour cost?

• Accommodation in very good hotel in Leh and all the campings are in pitched 2 persons tents (Twin sharing)
• Full board meals (only vegetarian food on the tour - breakfast, lunch and dinner)
• Support van for transfer and backup vehicle
• All permit fees

• Customs and any other Tax (international)

Can we skip certain days of cycling?

Yes, in the event, you are not feeling up for a particular part of the ride, the backup vehicle is there to help you out.
Can we book as a group and avail discounts?

Unfortunately, we do not offer any special discounts for groups, etc.
